And now let’s see some alternative pizze.
First: calzone, literaly ‘trouser’, yes, singular. Basically a pizza folded in half, shaped like a half moon, offered in almost any Italian pizzeria. Normally a calzone is stuffed with mozzarella e pomodoro, very often with prosciutto cotto (‘ham’), ricotta, pancetta (the Italian version of bacon) or other ingredients.

and one of my favorite: pizza finta (‘fake pizza’) aka a super fast, smart and yummy way to recycle leftover bread!
