Minestre, warm creamy deliciousness

In my top five:

Crema di zucca (‘Pumpkin soup’)

Pappa al pomodoro, a Tuscan classic, a thick soup made with tomatoes and bread (created to use left over bread of course)

Pasta e fagioli, (literally pasta and beans, actually a bean soup with pasta fresca or regular pasta, with many possible variants)

Pasta e ceci, same with chickpeas

Minestra di farro (‘hulled wheat soup’)
