#129 I miss Italian chocolate candies – 4

Gianguiotti, chocolate candies, in shape of a little boat in a golden wrap,

made of Gianduja, a chocolate with 30% of nocciole del Piemonte (‘local hazelnut’), created at the time of Napoléon.

Gianduia is also one of the masks of the Commedia dell’arte, representing an honest peasant of Piedmontese countryland, with a certain inclination for wine and beautiful girls.
