In the States, in October the Pumpkin season starts. Pumpkin bread, Pumpkin cupcakes, Pumpkin pies, Pumpkin beer, Pumpkin latte…
Ironically, when I am home I miss this.
But when I am here I miss the way we cook zucca (‘pumpkin’) in Italy.
Pasta alla zucca
Risotto alla zucca
Tortelli alla zucca
Crema di zucca
Gnocchi di zucca
